Singam II is an Tamil film directed by Hari, starring Suriya in the title role with Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek and Santhanam playing supporting roles. The film is a sequel to Singam (2010) and will be produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. The Telugu dubbed version, Yamudu II is also expected to release simultaneously with the original.

Filming
The film has been shot mainly in Kerala, Tuticorin, Chennai, Hyderabad, Malaysia, Tirunelveli and Karaikudi. Hari will also film some of the songs, talkie parts and fight scenes in Durban, Cape Town and Joburg in South Africa as well as Kenya. And while coming to post production, V. T. Vijayan has started to prepare for his edit with his assists and equipment. The filming process began in September 2012 and lasted for seven months. It was wrapped up on April 30, 2013..jpg)
