Best Actor Surya, Rocking Hero Surya, Tamil Nadu State Award Function
The Tamil Nadu State Award Function was held yesterday at the University of Madras Centenary Auditorium. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi handed over the awards to the actors, directors and technicians of Tamil cinema. Rajini received the best actor award of 2007 for ‘Sivaji’ and Kamal received the best actor award of 2008 for ‘Dasavatharam’. The others who were present for the function were Suriya, Jyothika, Vadivelu, Magathi, Sneha, Illayaraja, Vaali, Thangar Bachchan, Namitha, Vivek, Suman, Kanal Kannan, Chinmayee, Prashanth , K S Ravikumar, Kushboo, Latha Rajinikath, Aishwarya Dhanush, Soundarya, Kovai Sarala.
